Designed for children 5 years and older, our Summer Karate Camp runs from June through to school starts, and will be open from 6:30am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday.

Karate Camp

     Our Summer Karate Camp includes a variety of activities to insure that your child will have an unforgettable, but at the same time beneficial, summer as we mix together self defense classes, child safety awareness and fun, plus have parent day, where your children will teach you!

     Self defense and physical education will be stressed every day as your child participates in two to 8 karate lessons a week. Here your child will learn valuable life lessons such as how to handle bullies, identifying strangers, being approached by strangers (including the "will you help me find my lost puppy" ploy), what to do if a stranger (or any adult or child) places them in an uncomfortable situation and who they can trust in case of an emergency.

    There is also continued education as each child works through an age appropriate workbook.

     But there is also lots of fun time throughout the week as we do arts and crafts, reading time and movies.. Being situated in Old New Castle gives us the opportunity for local field trips to places such as Battery Park, the Movies, Roller Skating and more.

     Due to high gas, we know how the ripple effect works, we are NOT going to raise our prices this year. In order to do this we are having a limited amount of trips.   Our registration is the only increase and that includes a uniform.. Everything else is the same.  Let us KNOW ASAP whether or not your child/ren are going to be here.  We are already getting sign ups.

 

Information

     Our Karate Camp is a total eleven week adventure starting on June 4th and ending when school begins in August. Check out our prices below and we think you'll agree that they are less expensive than most daycares. Consider the additional health, safety and structure benefits that we're offering your child and we know that you'll agree that this will be an excellent experience for your child.

     Prices are as follows and are due MONDAY of each week. If for some reason we are closed on Monday, fees are due the first day of the week that the school is open. Prices do not include lunch. Lunch is to be provided from home.  We do not serve breakfast:

  • There is a one time, non-refundable, registration fee of $40.00 for 1 child, $70.00 for 2 children and $100.00 for three children. This covers the cost of uniforms, (tops and bottoms)   This fee DOES NOT go towards the first week of camp.
  • For one child - $150.00 a week with a three week minimum.
  • For two children - $235.00 a week with a three week minimum.
  • For three children - $305.00 a week with a three week minimum.
  • There is a $25.00 charge if you are late picking up your child (boot camp ends at 6:00pm) and you did not call to let us know.
  • If you are taking your child our for vacation, lets us know in advance so you will be charged for 1/2 a week.
  • Ask about our discounted prices if your child is already enrolled in our Karate Program.
  • Prices above do not include lunch, since everyone liked some of the trips last summer, we will keep the roller skating, and boomers. These extra trips to the Camden Aquarium, Franklin Institute, our annual Summer Yogi Bear camping trip in Elmer, NJ. (we will do the wet and wild weekend this year) are not included.  Transportation is provided and parents are more than welcome to join any activities that are provided or come for a day.
  • We have a totally different calendar this year, we have parents day plus more!.
  • Parents come in and let your child teach you what they have learned!
  • Remember, we are getting sign ups now.
  • For return Summer Camp Students payment is the same as last year.

     We also have a special one week package. Your child will still get all the great programs and activities as our full time kids. Price for the one week package is $195.00 (for one child), again due Monday.
