N.C.M.A Latchkey Program

New Castle Martial Arts offers a safe, affordable alternative for you children's after school Karate.
What could be easier? Simply drop your child or children off at our karate school (we open at 6:30am) and pick them at the end of the day before 5:30-6:00pm. We do the rest!

We will drop your child off at school in the morning (we currently drop off and pick up from 5 area schools. See list below) and pick them up at the end of the school day. When we get back to the karate school, your child will get a snack and receive help doing their homework. Latchkey participants also receive two or more Karate lessons a week.

New Castle School

     Our Latchkey pick-up/drop-off service currently includes the following local schools: Carrie Downy, Castle Hills, George Reed, Eisenburg, Colwyck, New Castle Middle, St. Peters, William Penn.

1st Grade and Up -   Price per child is $80.00 a week for after school for the 1st child, $95.00 a week for before and after Karate for the first child, There are no part time openings.  (Carrie Downie gets on bus 33 , it is a lower price)

Kindergarten - In the Colonial School District: Before and After school.   

Newark School

     All Rules apply to both Locations

1st Grade and Up - (starting September) -  For Before and After Karate for one child is $90.00 a week for the first child, and $80.00 a week for After Karate for the first child. This includes karate, meditation, stretching class's and an afternoon package snack. Starting in June we will be having a dry breakfast available for the Summer Karate Camp.

     We ask that you pick your child/children up at or before 5:30pm-6:00pm, so that we can then focus on the evening's martial arts programs. If you are late and did not call there is a $15.00 extra charge for every 15 minutes late.  Payments are due on Tuesday evening at the latest or there is a $10.00 late fee.

    We are open with all day service (you provide lunch) on the Holidays, half days and in-service days that the schools are closed. We do not charge more for these services ( unless it is all week), all we ask is that when your child is out for a week or you are on vacation - payment will still be due. If in doubt, check the red box above, call or ask or check out our calendar. We are not open on days where the local schools have closed due to snow. (If we can make it in then we will be open)

    Although the latchkey program is separate from out martial arts programs, we still maintain the same set of rules for latchkey children as our martial arts students. Discipline, Self Control, etc. Please read our school rules carefully. Continued disregard for our rules may result in a child no longer being allowed to participate in our latchkey program. or they will be suspended for a week.  We invite you to stop by our school to check out our after school alternative!
